An Albanian who had left for Great Britain was stopped at Lisbon Airport, after he tried to cross the border with forged documents.
Foreign media write that along with him was arrested another person (woman) who accompanied him, who is accused of providing assistance for the passage of illegal immigrants.
The Portuguese Border and Immigration Directorate (SEF) said the woman, whose nationality was not disclosed, was trying to enter the UK, via Lisbon, with an Albanian national, who was also arrested for presenting a forged European travel document.
The two nationals were arrested at the border checkpoint of international airport departures as they prepared to board a flight to Bristol, UK.
