Prime Minister Edi Rama this Tuesday was in Fier at the ultramodern station of the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline where he participated in the signing of the agreement for the construction of the Albanian Starting Gas Exit Point.
The head of government in his speech said that this is one of the most important projects to transform the country into a space of diverse sources of energy production.
Among other things, he said that TAP is a reliable source for economic and social development of our country.
“Today is one of the many stations of a journey that follows, to turn the country into a net exporter of energy, and at the same time to make it a space of diverse sources of energy production, finally introducing and another component of the country’s economic and social flow such as gas. We are confident that it is now only a matter of willpower, hard work and great patience to fulfill a vision that is no longer a wish or aspiration based on a dream but an achievable horizon on a determined basis.
Even the process of interaction launched to ensure continued cooperation with major American companies is an indication of the fact that TAP is not merely the gas crossing to the other side of the Adriatic, but a transformational development of the decade in which we are. I express the highest consideration for all those who are involved in this project and above all the Albanians who are part of this project “, he said.
