On the 30th anniversary of the founding of the SP, in the extraordinary congress, Gramoz Ruçi announced that he will celebrate his birthday naked from all political functions, even from the mandate of the deputy.
Only a few days later, Gramoz Ruçi turns 70 years old.
From September, when he takes over the post of Speaker of Parliament, he will no longer be in the Assembly or with functions in the SP.
“I will declare the end of this marathon and like every marathon has a start and an end, therefore I have chosen that there is nothing better than in this 30th anniversary of SP, there is no better today that we have won this fair mandate, after a few months turns 70 to declare before you that on September 9, when the new legislature begins, I will not exercise the mandate given to me by the Socialist Party and that I will not have ambitions to be in any executive body of my family.
