The US space agency Rover Perseverance robot is continuing its mission on the planet Mars. The BBC reports that NASA’s work will now move to another stage, which is that of land analysis.
For this Rover Perseverance will take a piece of rock from Mars and bring it to Earth, which marks the end of his mission.
Scientists say from the rock they will study if there was ever life on Mars and the analysis will take some time.
So far from the images brought to earth by the robot, it has been seen that there may have been a lake and a river, but still nothing is confirmed.
The NASA robot has been moving over a large area on Mars since arriving there 5 months ago. NASA has already named the explored places “Paver Stones” or “Fractured Rough”.
Scientists want to determine if the rock they are going to analyze is of sedimentary or volcanic origin.
