Microsoft said the next version of Office for Windows 11 will have a 64-bit version for ARM mobile processors and improve performance.
The new version is currently in beta testing phase available to insiders. The company also said a redesign is coming to Office as you can see in the images in this article.
You can test Office whether you are in Windows 11 Preview or Windows 10. In addition to the new design, Office will adapt to dark mode at the system level.
With the new operating system, Microsoft will support several Qualcomm mobile processors. It is a good sign which signals the arrival of more energy efficient and higher performance equipment.
Mac devices with the M1 mobile processor also got a version of Office applications. Users who want to test the 64-bit ARM version of Office must have the experimental version of Windows 11 installed / PCWorld English
