It has been a long time coming and Microsoft has finally decided to start with Internet Explorer. The company will withdraw Internet Explorer from the operating system starting June 15, 2022 in Windows 10.
The move will not affect Windows 10 Long-Term Servicing, used by MRI or traffic control system. Nor Internet Explorer 11 Server applications.
For the rest this browser will say goodbye. Internet Explorer has been part of Windows for more than a quarter of a century. Since the introduction of the Edge in 2015 Microsoft has gradually distanced itself from them.
Ended support in pre-2016 versions. Microsoft 365 and other applications will stop supporting Internet Explorer on August 17.
Microsoft has urged Internet Explorer users to switch to Edge which has an IE mode for websites that still need it. There are many organizations and businesses that use Internet Explorer because their applications do not work with modern browsers. Microsoft says it will support this mode on the Edge by 2029 giving IT departments time to move away from those older applications. / PCWorld Albanian
