President Ilir Meta met today with the Speaker of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca. Together they discussed the intensification of cooperation between our two countries in all areas, the progress of integration processes towards the European Union, as well as developments in the region. President Meta said that Albania supports the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, for the normalization of relations between them, and stressed the need for the agreements reached so far not to remain only on paper.
“It is important that all political forces in Kosovo are united around a comprehensive platform in this process.” – stressed President Meta.
Meta also stressed that visa liberalization for the citizens of Kosovo is a necessity, and wished that this happens as soon as possible. With the approach of the tourist season, the President encouraged a closer cooperation between Albania and Kosovo, in order to develop tourism in both our countries.
