The Mayor of Tirana was present at the Gala Evening of the largest technology event in all Albanian-speaking areas, the Albanian ICT Awards.
During his speech he said that “The ICT Awards has become an icon of the city of TiranaAppreciating the contribution given over the years by this event.
From the gala evening scene, he said that he had made a promise when he took office as mayor that within 10 years Tirana would become the digital capital of the Balkans.
He went further giving important news. New Park in Kashar where 50 hectares will be transformed into a technology park for the city of Tirana.
The Gala evening brought together professionals, experts, academics, executives, decision makers and policy makers in the Information and Communication Technology sector. He stressed that with the ICT Awards we all enjoy the fruits of a common challenge./ PCWorld Albanian
