Italy overtook England on penalties at Wembley, raising the trophy for the second time in its history in Europe. At the end of the match, coach Roberto Mancini spoke about Rai Sport microphones:
“We were good because we reacted after the goal suffered! We went through difficulties, but then we dominated the game. The boys were gorgeous.
It’s important for all the people and for all the fans. We are happy with that. I hope they celebrate all over Italy, we deserve this triumph. “
