The Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, visited in the pavilion of “Burning-plastic” in QSUT, four members of the Gjoka family, who were seriously injured this morning by the explosion of gas cylinders in their hotel in Velipoja. 40-year-old A. Gjoka, had got up in the morning to prepare coffee and just at this moment a powerful explosion occurred. It is suspected that previously there was a gas leak of smaller cylinders, which later led to the powerful explosion, which was heard in a good part of the beach of Velipoja.
Condition of injured family members:
According to sources, the burns are third and fourth degree and four members of the Gjoka family are in serious condition and life-threatening.
Doctors have said they cannot be transferred to Italy as their condition is very serious.
