The Mayor of Gjilan, Lutfi Haziri, during the day, received in a meeting, the Mayor of Presevo, Ardita Sinani.
Haziri and Sinani during the meeting, talked about engaging in various activities related to the citizens of Gjilan and Presevo.
“It is a pleasure to meet the mayor of Presevo, my friend Ardita Sinani, where we confirmed the maximum commitment to facilitate all activities related to the citizens of Gjilan, Presevo and Eastern Kosovo in general, that the residents of these two sides who are family, blood and friendly, have freedom of movement and without hindrance. “Local economic development is a common focus so that the economy and agribusiness can take positive steps in this direction by applying with joint projects in international funds and grants.” – wrote after the meeting, the mayor of Gjilan, Lutfi Haziri.
Haziri further added that: “At the time of the talks for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, the issue of the Albanians of Eastern Kosovo should be part of the table and in the interest of the Kosovo government and the mandate for negotiations.”
According to Haziri, the principle of reciprocity and the principle of the right to self-determination of the citizens of these three municipalities means to return the right to live in the mother Republic, but this is a political process that is in its infancy, in this decade of re.
