Analyst Fatos Lubonja, in a Skype connection in the “Opinion” column in “News 24” stated that if the “renaissance” scenario would go to the end, it would be the death of democracy.

Lubonja stressed that the majority wants a more positive image for the country, adding that he also wants to get rid of the president.

“I did a writing today and I was dealing with a kind of built-in, false hope or an open-eyed dream, as you call me, as if after their elimination, it circulates a lot in the corridors, the strike will begin, the declaration non grata in the other wing, in a sense that will end up in Rama and so the good will triumph. That was what I deny. Whereas, as you formulated it, it is more realistic, like the dream of the Renaissance, not of the Albanians, who want to be liberated from the Renaissance as a party of the system, who dream of having a wise, soft opposition, which is integrated within our leadership, ie as a faction of the SP, or of the Renaissance, ie an opposition which no longer even complains about the stolen and robbed elections “, said Lubonja

Fatos Lubonja estimated that the “renaissance” needs an image of a peaceful Albania, in order to open negotiations.

“On the contrary, the renaissance loves the opposition that accepts defeat with nobility, and that is cleansed of some hot heads, according to them, and the country moves safely under the leadership of the supreme leader. This is their dream and this is what they are playing, in my opinion and with this project they have, to remove the president, then until the issue of the president is addressed in the Constitutional Court, they think that September should come and they may have removed the president. get rid of and then build these dreams I said. If this is realized, my comment is that we are dealing with the death of democracy, it is the dream of the dictator, but the death of democracy, because democracy in the end is also a conflict, it is also a conflict of interests.

I believe that this is also in order to eliminate the attention to what happened on April 25, that Basha, even for his interests, is denouncing every day, that is, the electoral massacre, which he calls, which in a way disturbs even internationally the renaissance. Today I read an article by Le Figaro, which was also translated into the Albanian press. The renaissance also needs an internationally an image of a peaceful Albania, which has a legitimate leader, from regular elections and this can open one as an image for an acceptable Albania, perhaps the opening of negotiations. This is their project, while that of the opposition then remains to be seen “, said Lubonja.
