She said there had been very frequent quarrels and tension between them in the last two years.
“There was practically a lot of hassle. There has generally been tension in their home over the past two years. I heard a lot of noise, a lot of crackling and because I heard this, I asked for help and called the operating room.
I was told from the hall that the car patrolling the area would arrive in 25 minutes.
But because the quarrel was so great, I asked them to hear through my cell phone what was going on in the house next to mine. “I was told to give the details and that they would come immediately,” said Sylvia Mourouti.
Within minutes, police arrived at the scene but left without intervening.
“The police simply lowered the car window when he approached it and then left. I went out on the balcony and waited for them to enter the couple’s house. At first I thought they would park the car. But not unfortunately. They left without going up to the house where the ‘war’ was taking place“, Stressed the neighbor of the 31-year-old Albanian victim.
