Epidemiologist Ilir Alimehmeti has analyzed the epidemiological situation, recalling the risk of coronavirus for children and adolescents.
Through a status on the social network “Facebook”, Alimehmeti lists the studies and analyzes conducted by the “National Health System” in collaboration with other British institutions, published on July 2 this year, which address the causes of death of children and adolescents over 1 year pandemic starting from March 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021.
Published data show that during one year in the United Kingdom among children and adolescents occurred:
-3,105 total deaths,
-61 deaths with positive buffer, but only 25 deaths were as a result of COVID-19.
Recalling that there are over 12 million children and adolescents in the UK: mortality from SARS-CoV-2 was less than 2 in 1 million.
While the mortality rate from infection (IFR) is completely low.
The epidemiologist writes that based on studies it has been concluded that 99.995% of children and adolescents survive SARS-COV-2 and that this mortality rate is exactly the same as the seasonal mortality rate, which in this age group ranges from 0.003 % – 0.009%, depending on the years.
It is further stated that among the 25 deaths 19 had serious illnesses, 13 had serious neurological diseases (causes: genetic / metabolic diseases, cerebral or premature ischemia), and 8 individuals with neurological diseases also had severe respiratory diseases.
While 6 others had serious oncological, hematological, cardiac, endocrinological diseases and premature birth complications.
Meanwhile the authors have come to the conclusion that SARS-CoV-2 is very rarely fatal for children and adolescents, even for those with concomitant diseases.
-Survival is 99.995%.
-Our findings are 60% lower than the figures coming from positive tests, further reducing the calculation of the risk of pandemic death for this age group.
-The most at risk were ages> 10 years with Asian or black ethnicity.
So the NHS concludes that children and adolescents have a very minimal risk and is comparable to seasonal flu.
Finally the epidemiologist appeals: “Let the children be free to play, to have fun, to be educated, to grow, as is their right!”

Cit .: Prof. Erik Erikson (1902-1994)
The risk of COVID-19 for children and adolescents is completely minimal my friends!
As noted at the outset, adolescents and adolescents are generally more susceptible to SARS-CoV-2 infection.
These surveys are already supported by official evidence, as in the case of official UK data.
The NHS (National Health System) in collaboration with other elite British institutions, published on 8 July 2021 the study of the causes of death of children and adolescents (<18 years old) during a pandemic year (period 1 March 2020 - 28 February 2021).
Their findings are as impressive as they were predictable.
In detail, over the course of a year, among children and adolescents in the UK have occurred:
3,105 total deaths,
61 deaths with positive buffer, but
A single 25 deaths were as a result of COVID-19.
Recalling that there are over 12 million children and adolescents in the UK:
mortality from SARS-CoV-2 resulted in less than 2 in 1 million.
Infection mortality rate (IFR) is completely low:
469,982 children and adolescents were infected during this period as a result
IFR = 25 / 469.982 = <0.005%.
Thus, 99.995% OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS SURVIVE SARS-COV-2.
This mortality rate is exactly the same as the seasonal flu mortality rate, which in this age group ranges from 0.003% – 0.009%, depending on the years.
The authors go further and announce that among the 25 deaths:
19 had serious illnesses,
13 had serious neurological diseases (causes: genetic / metabolic diseases, cerebral ischemia or premature birth), and
8 individuals with neurological diseases also had severe respiratory diseases,
6 others had serious oncological, hematological, cardiac, endocrinological diseases and complications of premature birth.
Among the 25 deaths,
6 (24%) occurred in individuals without disease, which is the same as
729 deaths occurred in children without COVID-19 (729/3080 = 24%).
Thankfully no deaths occurred in:
persons only with respiratory diseases (including asthma),
persons with type 1 diabetes,
persons with trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), or
persons only with epilepsy.
The authors draw clear conclusions:
SARS-CoV-2 is very rarely fatal to children and adolescents, even those with concomitant diseases.
Survival is 99.995%.
Our findings are 60% lower than the figures coming from positive tests, further reducing the estimate of pandemic death risk for this age group.
Most at risk were ages> 10 with Asian or black ethnicity.
These findings are important for guiding families, clinicians, and policymakers on future protection and vaccination strategies.
Short, beautiful, clear:
The NHS clearly states that children and adolescents have a very minimal risk and is comparable to seasonal flu.
So my friends:
Let the children be free to play, to have fun, to be educated, to grow, as is their right!
