Eid al-Adha is celebrated today throughout the country, where Muslim believers have turned to the mosques and main squares of cities to pray, while seeking more peace and harmony.
In Vlora, the Eid al-Adha prayer ceremony started early in the morning, where dozens of Muslim believers prayed in the square in front of the Lead Mosque. The head of the Mufti of Vlora district, Armand Asllani, in his speech emphasized and demanded more love and harmony between people.
In Fier, in the early hours of the morning, the believers prayed in the city mosque, while the Muslim leaders of the mufti conveyed wishes for peace and harmony among the people. The prayer was prayed at 07:10, while the prayer ceremony was preceded by the mufti of Fier, Mikel Hazizolli. He conveyed the message of more peace and respect for one another, and especially of more trust, considering man as the greatest wealth created by God.
Muslim believers around the world this Tuesday celebrated the feast of Eid al-Adha. Unlike a year ago, believers this year prayed in the city squares. In Berat, hundreds of believers prayed in the pedestrian area of the city by Imam Ainald Mali. After forgiveness the believers wished each other on this holy day.
In Lushnje, prayers were held in the main square of the city in front of the municipality. On this day marked for the Islamic religion, the prayer was led by the imam of the mosque, Genti Hyka.
