Petar Petkovic, Director of the Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia has indicated that in the meeting that will be held on Wednesday, the Serbian side will discuss and will start with the topic of not forming the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities.
“It will certainly be the main topic for us. “We will also talk about the missing, because it is an important issue that burdens both sides and it is not only a political issue but also a matter of civilization,” Petkovic said.
According to him, one of the topics that will be discussed will be the agreement on freedom of movement, as some officials have been barred from entering Kosovo, where the Serbian provinces are.
“You know that I and other government officials have been banned from visiting our southern province several times. “We will also discuss the security of Serbs, as well as the return of internally displaced persons, which was the topic of the technical dialogue last year,” Petkovic said.
According to reports, Kosovo and Serbia will hold a meeting on 6 and 7 July, within the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, but not at a high level. After the first meeting of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuçi., meetings are expected between the delegations of both countries in Brussels.
