After the meeting held with the Prime Minister Albin Kurti in the framework of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, the Chairman of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku said that he presented to the head of government a clarification, request and offer.
Abdixhiku states that he stressed to the Prime Minister that the documents that the previous government had regarding this issue already have all of them in the fdota.
“We talked about the issue of dialogue. The Prime Minister informed us about his positions and expectations, while we made a clarification, a request and an offer. The clarification was about the submitted documents and we reconfirmed that all the documents that the previous government had were submitted to the Prime Minister. We made a request for the political position that this government should have and present and we are expecting such a position.
And we made an offer, where we submitted a document on the political position that we think Kosovo should have. This document contains the principles that must be protected: Discussions on the basis of the decision of the ICJ, the protection of territorial integrity and the preservation of the unitary character and constitutional order. As long as the Prime Minister has this document he can use it as his platform. As long as it operates under it, the LDK is fine“, He said.
Abdixhiku also spoke about the US participation in the dialogue, without which he said that this process should not take place either.
“The US participation in the dialogue is indisputable and without its participation there should be no dialogue. LDK is part of the dialogue and Kosovo does not need negotiating teams and for this there is a decision of the Constitutional Court. Kurti has this obligation“, Said among others Abdixhiku.
