Kosovo new tax of 5 euros for vehicle registration

AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has accused the government of trying to empty the pockets of citizens with a new tax of 5 euros every time vehicles are registered.

He says citizens should protest for their rights, just as they protested for the Nation’s road tax.

“Dear citizens, the Government of Kosovo has imposed a completely new tax, in the amount of 5 euros, every time you register your vehicles. This decision benefits a private business and its affiliated individuals, emptying the pockets of citizens with about 2 million euros per year, which do not go to the state budget.

Dear citizens, PROTEST! They protested for a five euro tax for the use of the National Road, while now, for no reason, they are deprived of 5 euros for each vehicle! Protest for your rights! ”, writes Haradinaj.
