Deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo have adopted today the Resolution condemning the genocide in Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The resolution was initiated by the Bosniak coalition in the Assembly of Kosovo.
89 deputies voted for the adoption of this Resolution, none against and no abstentions. The resolution proposed by the Bosniak coalition was supported by all parliamentary groups in the Kosovo Assembly.

According to the resolution, the Serbian state genocide in Srebrenica against members of the Bosnian people and all human rights violations are strongly condemned, as well as any tendency to deliberately and publicly deny the Srebrenica genocide, in order to denigrate the victims and hide of the motives of the crimes committed.
The resolution also invites state institutions to honor the victims of the Srebrenica genocide and, given that the European Parliament has declared this Srebrenica Genocide Remembrance Day, July 11 to be declared Srebrenica Genocide Remembrance Day.
