The complaint of the Democratic Party for the elections in the Region of Durrës seems to have the fate of the complaint for the Region of Berat and Gjirokastra.
Members of the Complaints and Sanctions Commission decided not to accept new evidence from the DP, administering those that had been filed for the other two counties.
During this meeting, the lawyer of the Democratic Party, Marash Logu said that referring to the electronic identification device PEI, it was confirmed, that 4 people have placed their fingerprint more than once in this district.
Marash Logu: From the intersection of PEI electronic devices, we see 4 cases in which they voted in 8 different polling stations. This raises reasonable doubt that these persons have voted 71 times. We want to be divided longer into the available list, verified that these citizens, had voted or not. My question to the administration would be that there are 33 citizens who did not vote.
My question would be whether the verification has been done that there have been interruptions in these centers. Our final conclusions should include what we are looking for. As the administrative investigation has not been closed, for the needs of the investigation, it was said yesterday that the DP has not sent requests to public institutions. We sent them. What has brought us here, is that we want to deposit in the quality of material evidence.
Bele: The deposit you made for Shkodra is worth this process. Because it is the same information. In Durrës there was a malfunction of the device. Of the 300 names claimed by the DP, they have gone to 146. This request has been rejected earlier.
Marash Logu: We deposit new evidence and we have the right to administer the previous 19 evidence. Some procedural actions are valid for our rights as a complaining party, we perform these procedural actions also for an appealing effect.
Altin Kaziaj: We are in a similar issue, as in the Region of Berat, where two requests with different object are treated in a decision by you. Wishing not to have the fate of the District of Berat. Your decision to set a precedent of an administrative nature, and to use a big word like you. You treated the Region of Berat, using the principle of the adjudicated thing, this is used only in a definite form, you are opening much-discussed precedents. I agree with the part of Mr. Logu’s attitude. We too have ambiguities. A small detail, the Secretary General, has made a cover letter available to us. This, also thanks to the suggestion of Mr. Bele, puts at our disposal the data of the citizens of the region of Durrës.
Bele: KAS, since we had a similar case, by majority, we decided to confirm the same position, KAS refuses to address the institutions for evidence of PD, this is an interim decision that will be justified along with the final action . In these conditions, given that the administrative review has reviewed its stages. KAS will be withdrawn for decision, for this part
