With the triumph in Europe, Italy went to 34 consecutive games without a loss. A fantastic performance, but still not a record. The axurre national team will need two more matches not to lose in order to break the record.
Currently, it is Brazil with Spain that hold the record with 35 games in a row without a loss. Mancini claimed that the important thing was to win the European and not the records. He wants to remain modest, but as he is part of Italy’s history, breaking previous records, in September the current coach could enter world football history.
