Rovena Voda, during the period she has been acting Deputy Minister of Interior, has been involved in a scandal of illegal appointment of persons in the public administration.
According to SPAK investigations, it is believed that Voda received an amount of 2 thousand euros in exchange for hiring a young girl, named Florida Beu, who has been appointed as an employee in the civil administration, in the executive category.
Florida Bey, say sources close to the Prosecution, has started near the public administration structures and that he has already been arrested under the measure of “home arrest”.
For the hiring of Florida Bey, it is learned that the lawyer from Durrës, Majlinda Hasani, who has close acquaintance and friendship with Rovena Voda, has intervened and mediated.
Exactly Hasani, using the closeness with the Deputy Minister of Interior, Rovena Voda, has “orchestrated” the procedure for hiring her friend, Florida Bey.
For the introduction of Beut in the administration of the Ministry of Interior, it is suspected that Majlinda Hasani was paid, to Rovena Voda, a financial amount of 2000 thousand euros with the promise that Voda would talk to the members of the commission for reviewing the files of candidates for employment.
It is learned that this operation was pursued in dynamics by judicial police officers and SPAK prosecutors, who were in fact pursuing and investigating another criminal case.
The Voda case was separated from this initial file, causing the Special Prosecution to register the criminal proceeding no. 49/2 of 2021 and consequently today to request in court, the imposition of the security measure house arrest for the former Deputy Minister of Interior, Rovena Voda, the lawyer in Durrës, Majlinda Hasani and the girl employed in the ministry, Florida Beu.
