The fires in Greece have turned into a real nightmare. Almost half of the country is fighting for their extinction and thousands of residents and tourists have been evacuated from the most endangered areas.
Greek media have recently published footage from the movies, from the moment more than 1,130 people left Lake Evia and Kochili beach.
The videos uploaded on social networks show the magnitude of the catastrophe created by the fire in front of the eyes of people who were leaving the port of Limni by ferry to be transported safely to the port of Edipsos.

The fire in Evia remains one of the most active hearths that has burned thousands of hectares of forests and several houses, forcing many residents as well as holidaymakers to flee the country to escape its rage.
