After the mass poisoning of citizens in Deçan, the prosecution in Peja has launched an investigation, and has issued an order to interrogate citizens.
The spokesman of the Peja prosecutor’s office, Shkodran Nikçi has announced that two chief prosecutors have been appointed by the chief prosecutor to pursue this case.
The first order was to secure the scene and provide video cameras in that region as well as to interrogate officials of the company, “Hidromi”, medical officials, families in Deçan and other persons who are were part of the investigation “, he said.
Meanwhile, the municipality of Deçan has declared a state of emergency as a result of poisoning.
So far, over 1500 people have been registered in the health center who have sought medical treatment.
Meanwhile, today the Director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, Petrit Ajeti, is expected to report on the situation created by the poisoning.
