The Minister of Interior of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, yesterday insulted the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, reacting after an interview of President Osmani given to the German newspaper, ‘Der Spiegel’, which, speaking about the Serbian genocide against Albanians in 1999, said that he expects Serbia to kneel.
According to Serbian media, Vulin stated that while Aleksandar Vucic leads Serbia, she will not kneel, as Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani would like.
Vulin insulted the president by saying that “if Osmani had the face, as he has the belly, for the lies he says, she would kneel for a long time in front of the ‘yellow house’ and the Serbs killed for organ trafficking…” stated Vulin.
Vulin’s insult came after a Der Spiegel journalist insisted on asking Osman why he uses the term genocide for crimes committed by Serbia.
“I chose the notion of genocide consciously. It describes the purpose of a country to exterminate a nation. And this is exactly what happened in Kosovo. I am talking about the events in Meja, known as ‘Kosovo Srebrenica’, and in Poklek, where not only 54 children and old women were killed, but then also burned.
The goal has been to disappear from the face of the earth. Willy Brandt once said that when words are missing, one should fall to one’s knees. This is exactly what we expect from Serbia: falling to its knees “, was Osman’s answer.
Blerim Vela, the president’s chief of staff, reacted to Vulin’s statement, calling Vulin “Milosevic’s wife puppy”.
“Mira Markovic’s puppy during the 1990s in JUL, Aleksandar Vulin is the spokesman of the primitive, violent and sexist regime in Serbia. Vulin serves his current master, Aleksandar Vucic, with the same strength and dedication as he did Milosevic. Disgusting!”, wrote Vela on Twitter.
