The candidate for chairman of the Democratic Party, Agron Shehaj, invited to the “Frontline” show of Marsela Karapanço on News24, has revealed the message that he will send to Rama if he wins the elections in the Democratic Party on June 13.
Shehaj says that Albania does not need co-government, and this will not happen in any way.
He even says that the integration of Albania is done even without co-government, while guaranteeing that the DP with him at the helm will be a strong opposition that will not accept any agreement with the current majority.
QUESTION: Rama’s invitation, if after June 14 you are the chairman of the Democratic Party, what message will you give him?
AGRON SHEHAJ: In no way, Albania does not need co-government PD-PS. Integration is done without it. Absolutely not.
QUESTION: What about the SMI?
AGRON SHEHAJ: Today I am running as chairman of the Democratic Party. We need to strengthen the DP. The more opportunities we have to defeat Rama, this majority. Relations with allies will have time.
QUESTION: Blackmail in Basha’s decisions by Berisha?
AGRON SHEHAJ: You should ask Basha. I can not be aware of such a thing. Ask Basha.
QUESTION: Are the other candidates in the race strong enough, are they critical of Basha?
AGRON SHEHAJ: I have maximum respect for all candidates. This is the consideration I have.
