Huawei introduced the first smartwatches with HarmonyOS operating system: Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro.
Despite having the new operating system, the new watches do not bring anything exciting. As the naming scheme suggests, the Watch 3 is the base model while the Pro one brings better build quality and additional features that justify the price.
The Watch 3 is similar to the previous Watch 2. It has a 1.43-inch bright 1,000-nits OLED display. It has a steel body and a ceramic back cover. Huawei will sell the watch with different straps like Active, Classic and Elite.
The watch has 30 different visual interfaces while users can install up to 1 thousand of them from the app store. Rotating crowns are used to navigate and browse lists.
The Watch 3 has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Huawei uses a heart rate scanner, Sp02 sensor and track monitor to track activity and health parameters. The watch also has a new sensor for temperature measurement while also offering support for eSIM.
With 4G on Huawei says the watch survives 3 days on a single charge. The Pro model has a titanium case and longer battery life and everything else remains the same with the Watch 3. / PCWorld English
