Greek media have published the criminal past of the Albanian from North Epirus, who was killed in a mafia assassination in Athens.
Aristidhi Pappas was consuming coffee in the bar, when a person approached and shot the 34-year-old 8 times in the head and chest, taking his life.
According to Greek media reports, Pappas had escaped at least three assassinations in the past, while he was a person with a strong criminal record, in the field of drug trafficking, injuries and robberies.
Meanwhile, the victim is said to have been protected from a possible assassination attempt, as he was moving with a bulletproof vest and armed.
The victim was shot by unknown persons near Larissa station on May 26, 2019 and was seriously injured.
Meanwhile at the end of February 2021, the victim was arrested by police while riding an electric bicycle and was wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying a weapon.
A few hours later he was taken to the police station, where he spoke about the threats to his life and was released at noon.
But on the evening of the same day, he was the target of a new attack again near Larissa station by some strangers.
The 32-year-old was shot in the leg as the three perpetrators tried to escape in a taxi in which they left a gun when they escaped.
