Greece will not close again to protect some unvaccinated

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has assured that Greece will not be shut down even if the pandemic continues.

Mitsotakis says there is no need to shut down the whole country to protect some unvaccinated and the heavy burden to fall on the majority of the vaccinated Greek population.

He added that no additional measures will be taken in the future and according to him the middle way is vaccination as there will be a campaign to convince those who refuse the vaccine.

“The country will not close again to protect some unvaccinated people and to pay for the vast majority of the vaccinated Greek population,” Mitsotakis said.
