Rakacolli said they are completing the autumn-winter and next spring strategy, regarding surveillance and then organizing the health system to cope with different scenarios that may occur soon.
‘Autumn is a challenge this year, we will again see how much the virus influences, as it is still not clear how long the immunization lasts, whether natural or from the vaccine. It will be seen how long the immunization lasts, if other variants can emerge. There will also be the rise of other infections. Last fall the COVID infection prevailed we had no cases of flu. How to say this virus killed other viruses. But this fall we may have a resurgence of these infections and we are also working on a flu vaccination campaign and we have also ordered flu vaccines in order to deal with an unpleasant scenario. “We are completing the autumn-winter and next spring strategy, in relation to surveillance and the organization of the health system, to deal with different scenarios that may occur and we will launch it soon,” said Rakacolli.
