The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj in a live interview for News24 does not deny that in September there will be a different SP government for the third term.
Veliaj says that the focus of SP and Rama is the renewal of the party and the administration, therefore there will be new faces at the leadership level.
He has remembered himself when he became a minister at a very young age and it is not surprising if the boys and girls that the prime minister himself is trying to discover and recruit take responsibility even in very high positions.
VELIAJ: Now everything will be different, from the communication with the opposition, will the government be different?
From what I know and see, the Prime Minister has started an extraordinary discussion, invitation, dialogue with the youth. A party that does not open to young people is destined to have the fate of PD and LSI. The same chairman, brothers-in-law, shutters and here they are. The success of the SP has been the opening.
As far as I remember, there were 15 discussion sessions with the platform “Ready for Albania” for guests and talents from abroad. There is another approach, they say you roll up your sleeves so I can come too. They do not cry, but give a hand. The fact that the Prime Minister has passed 15 sessions is the focus on the renewal of the party and the administration. You will see a lot of new ones, both at the managerial and technical level.
There will be with the advancement in the EU, we will need hundreds of technical capacities just to negotiate each chapter. 800 only translated. Dozens of delegations will come to Tirana. It will be talent hunting for government and special projects.
