The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Emilija Rexhepi gave details from the meeting that took place tonight between the French President, Emmanuel Macron and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, at the Elysse Palace in Paris.
At the meeting, which lasted more than an hour, Rexhepi said that important topics were discussed, such as the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, visa liberalization, the need for vaccine supply, education and Kosovo’s path to the EU. .
“We had a very friendly meeting, more than an hour with President Macron, a very sincere meeting. “We discussed the possibility for Kosovo to be supplied with anti-COVID vaccines, for more investments from France in Kosovo, for education, visa liberalization as a priority of the Kurti Government, dialogue with Serbia and the easiest way to the European Union”, Rexhepi made known to the Telegraph.
She also stressed that during the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti invited President Macron to visit Kosovo.
Asked if she has seen positive signs from President Macron that she will support Kosovo in its demands during the dialogue process with Serbia, Rexhepi said that Kosovo will have close ties and full support from France.
“For me, France is a very important country in Europe and President Macron is one of the most powerful leaders. “Kosovo must definitely have close ties and full support from France”, said Rexhepi.
