France will start vaccinating children between the ages of 12 and 15 starting June 15, according to a government statement. France has recorded less than 10,000 cases for the second day in a row and the death toll fell last week.
France, which launched the vaccination campaign late last year, will now allow the vaccination of people over the age of 18.
President Emmanuel Macron told reporters that from June 15, teens ages 12 to 18 will receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
