The stadium “Fadil Vokrri” of the city of Prishtina was today the arena of a very special match. Veterans teams of representatives of Kosovo and Albania descended on the field of play.
The match was aimed at remembering the legendary figure of Kosovar football Fadil Vokrri, who passed away unexpectedly in 2018.
On the field of play were very well-known names of Albanian football, such as Kushta, Ballgjini, Zmijani, Beqiri, Jupi, Duro and Fakaj, or even the “boys of the house” like Dallku and Curri, for a match that was played in a very atmosphere friendly turning back years for many of these names.
This special fraternity closed with the figures 1-1 and then the representative of the Kosovo veterans won with a penalty. Before the start of the match, both delegations were present at the presentation ceremony of the statue of Fadil Vokrri that was placed in front of the stadium.
