Ferrari has improved a lot, at least on city tracks it is doing well. Charles Leclerc secured the second consecutive “pole position” valid for the Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix today.
He left behind Lewis Hamilton with Mercedes, with whom he will share the first start line tomorrow. While the third was ranked the leader of the world ranking, the Dutchman Max Verstappen with Red Bull.
Today’s tests were characterized by 4 red flags, due to accidents that cars had on this city runway. The latter was given in the last seconds of the official tests, making the cars unable to attempt a fast lap.

More or less the same situation was repeated as two weeks ago in Monte Carlo, but this time it was Tsunoda and Sainz who clashed and forced the organizers to wave the red flag and stop the official rehearsals. Sainz was actually forced to brake hard so as not to hurt the Japanese.
