President Recep Tayyip Erdo .an addressed a special session of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Parliament on Monday on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation.
“Today we do not share only a common enthusiasm and a common pride of the nation. Regardless of whether they want it or not, today we once again declare to the whole world the eternal brotherhood between Turkey and RTQV, which takes its strength. from the blood of our martyrs, “said the Turkish leader.
“The cause of Cyprus, with its history, its conscience, its war and the epic it wrote in 1974, is the cause of a great nation,” he said.
“The master of the Cyprus cause is the whole great Turkish nation, with its small and big homeland,” Erdogan assured.
“The Greek Cypriots, who with the help of the terrorist organization EOKA did not hesitate to infringe on the honor, life and property of their Turkish neighbors, never considered the Turkish Cypriots as equal partners”, – Erdogan continued his speech to the Parliament of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
“We will continue to walk this path resolutely even though some in the United States are concerned about the climate of unity, solidarity and brotherhood we display here,” the Turkish leader said.
“Experiences painfully gained in history and in this process have made it clear to everyone that the Greek Cypriot side does not intend to create an inclusive state,” he said.
President Erdo .an said that a just, permanent and lasting solution can only be an approach that will be based on the realities of the Island.
Referring to the position of the Greek Cypriot side in the negotiations on the Cyprus issue, Erdogan noted that “it is no longer possible for us to trust them, to lose another 50 years.”
“We do not make concessions, we can no longer make concessions,” he said.
