The Eid al-Adha prayer was performed in the Great Mosque in Prishtina. The message of Eid al-Adha was delivered by the Mufti of Kosovo, Naim Tërnava.
On this occasion, Tërnava said that he said that the Feast of Eid al-Adha is one of the most important holidays for Muslims.
“Dear believers, brothers and sisters, today we are jointly celebrating the Feast of Eid al-Adha. This holiday is one of the most important holidays, which comes after Hajj and the slaughter of the Sacrifice.
“Even this year, due to the pandemic situation, we have not been allowed to visit the blessed Islamic countries, and cutting the sacrificial animal is the piety of the believer. “Cutting the sacrifice is an obligation”, said Tërnava.
He further added that the prosperity of this holiday is the table of Eid and the respect and love of family and relatives.
He called for peace, solidarity and respect for anti-Covid measures.
“The prosperity of this holiday is also the table of Eid, to enjoy its goodness with love and respect near our relatives and families.”
“Brothers and sisters, let us enjoy the blessings of this holiday, to be close to each other for better or for worse. “Let’s take care of public health and know that the virus is still among us.”
