Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi has warned that the demolition of illegal constructions from Velipoja to Ksamil will start next week.
Through a Facebook status, the Minister emphasizes that unlike in the past, the punitive measures have been toughened and affect the entire construction chain from the investor to the construction site employees or even the police officers and inspectors of IKMT.

Next week we will start with the demolition of illegal constructions on the coastline from Velipoja to Ksamil, to liberate any occupied space and bring to justice the violators. Next is the turn of those who have intervened in protected areas and national axes. The State Police and IKMT have made the identification of constructions and any other structure erected without permission throughout the territory of the country. Unlike in the past, this time after the amendment of the Criminal Code, the punitive measures have been toughened and affect the entire construction chain from the investor to the construction workers or even the police officers and inspectors of IKMT who may have closed their eyes while was built without permission.
