The meeting of the Permanent Statutory Commission has ended in the Democratic Party, where the proposals for changes in status proposed by the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, as well as the members of the Group for the Democratic Party, Fatbardh Kadilli and Edith Harxhi were considered.
At the end of the meeting which lasted for about 2 hours, the commission decided to reject the proposals of Kadil and Harxhi, and to approve the proposals of the DP leader for changes in the party statute.
In the 11 proposals of President Basha for the change of the statute of PD, a more extended chairman is foreseen, where besides the chairman of the National Council, there will also be leaders of some other structures, who have not been part of this before. PD forum. Another proposal of Lulzim Basha is that the number of secretaries should not be limited, but should be appointed by the chairman.
The Democrat leader also proposes the organization of the National Council by departments. Among other things, Basha demands that the candidates for mayors be nominated by the party chairman, appointed by the presidency and the full list approved by the national council.
