The COVID-19 situation is worsening in a number of countries around the world. Indiaโs health ministry announced on Sunday that it had registered 39,000 new cases in the last 24 hours, while Russia reported 23,000 new cases.
Meanwhile, the population in many countries is showing resistance to the return of isolation measures. In France, 230,000 people marched on Sunday in various cities against vaccinations as well as the requirement to present the immunization certificate to enter public facilities.
Rarely have these protests been embraced by a wide ideological spectrum, from the far left to the far right.
Health workers in France have until September 15 to get the vaccine or they will be suspended from work.
Meanwhile, some European countries have embraced the idea of โโa vaccination passport without much resistance. In Denmark and Austria these passports are widely used to attend hotels, sports facilities, salons, etc.
In Poland, meanwhile, thousands marched on Saturday on plans the government is considering whether or not to impose restrictions on unvaccinated people.
