The Business Association, through a letter addressed to the Ministry of Health and the Technical Committee of Experts, has requested that the curfew be extended.
Through this official request, businesses indicate that they are facing difficult economic conditions.
According to the Association, the current curfew, which starts at 00:00, and ends at 06:00 hinders businesses (music is allowed until 22:00).
“It is advisable to find a solution and reaction as soon as possible on your part, otherwise we will also refer to the rules and laws in force,” the statement said.
BUSINESS ASSOCIATION REQUEST
Referring to the measures in force of the DCM and the Technical Committee of Experts in the framework of the Covid-19 pandemic, we ask for relief from you, as we as businesses are facing economic difficulties. The curfew still in force, deprives us of the activities that we as (local) businesses carry out; (weddings, family celebrations and other ceremonies), exerting constant pressure on us and not allowing us to develop our economic activity normally, within the hours allowed by the institutions, which greatly complicates our economy, which is also reflected in income family of any business executive.
We therefore request that the measures in force be reviewed, given the low number of cases of covid 19 infections, as well as mortality. The blow we received from a year of closure due to the covid 19 pandemic, and the curfew still in effect, will make our economy and finances even more difficult, leading us to bankruptcy.
It is advisable to find a solution and reaction as soon as possible on your part, otherwise we will also react to the rules and laws in force.
Thanking you,
Business associations
