Berisha’s lawsuit in the Paris correctional court against US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on charges of defamation after the decision to declare him non grata has been widely read as a ploy by the former prime minister, prompted by US-France relations.
But Berisha, invited to “PolitikOn” on Rtv Ora, clarifies that he does not intend to join millions of anti-Americans in Europe.
“No there is not. I never intend to join the millions of anti-Americans in Europe. In Europe the European left has fostered unbridled anti-Americanism, I can not unite. I can never take this act, this absurd decision based on slander, as a symbol of America, I take it as an indisputable weakness“, Said the former prime minister.
Berisha insists that this is a decision based on slander.
“To make such a decision and say that I relied on reports funded by George Soros, on the reports of Edi Rama and relied on the media controlled by Rama.Soros is powerful. Outside of political offices he is the most powerful man in the world, outside of official political functions“, He said.
The time when it came for Berisha is not a coincidence.
“It is thought that this blow will weaken me at a time that has the opposite effect on me“, Declared Berisha.
