The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuçi., Said that the Serbian delegation goes with “the greatest confidence” to Brussels, where the next meeting of the talks between Kosovo and Serbisv will be held on July 19.
“We want to talk, to solve concrete problems, from missing persons and everything else. I think progress is needed, but if it is possible, we will see“, Said Vuçiç.
This is the second meeting between Kurti and Vuiqi. In Brussels. For the first time, the two officials met on June 15 and during the meeting presented their opposing positions. In the end, the parties said that they did not agree on anything, but expressed readiness to continue the dialogue.
The political dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, mediated by the European Union, started in 2011. The last meeting between the heads of state of these countries took place on June 15 between the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic. Even after this meeting no agreement was reached as the parties did not accept each other’s terms for continuing the dialogue.
