A beach was closed for several hours for beachgoers because a shark was reported to be swimming near the shore.
The incident took place on Boscombe beach in Bournemouth, England. The Coast Guard placed red flags as a signal to warn beachgoers of a serious danger in the water.
They also asked people to get out of the sea because of the “big marine wildlife” in the water.
By the time the shark was spotted, the beach was packed with families enjoying their summer vacation.
After several hours of searching, the beach reopened after being considered safe again.
