Today marks the 26th anniversary of the Srebenica massacre, one of Europe’s greatest atrocities since World War II, when Serb forces killed more than 8,000 Muslim men and boys in the eastern Bosnian enclave.
Through a message on “Twitter” the leader of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha says that Albania must have the courage and independence to condemn it and the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.
The leader of the Democrats also says that the DP will present a resolution in the Assembly on the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.
“The Srebenica massacre is a genocidal act which must be recognized and condemned as such by the civilized world. “Albania must have the courage and independence to condemn it and the Serb genocide in Kosovo, on which PD Albania will present a resolution in the Assembly,” Basha wrote in his message.
