The execution of Armando Beqiri in Iceland was planned in detail and his movements were monitored the night he was killed, according to the indictment of the district prosecutor.
At the court hearing held the day before, they were also taken 4 other defendants, while the main perpetrator of the murder is Angjelin Stërkaj who admitted in court that he was the main killer who shot in the direction of Armando Beqiri. and a woman is involved in the 4 defendants, who is said to be the girlfriend of Angjelin Stërkajt, who was instructed by one of the defendants to monitor the cars owned by Armando Beqiri, the day he was shot dead near his house. The defendants are all of foreign origin but have lived in Ilsanda for some time.
The indictment alleges that a defendant named Murat Selivrada instructed his wife, Claudia Sofia Coelho Carvalho, to send a message via Messenger at the moment that Armando Beqiri’s cars were moving.
According to the indictment, she was following the two cars and informed the third defendant, Shpëtim Qerimi, as soon as Armando left the apartment. Qerimi had been driving with Angjelin Stërkaj just before midnight. The prosecutor says they stopped the car near the corner of Rauðagerði and Borgargerði.
According to the indictment, Angjelini was hiding in a garage and when Armando came out of the garage near his home after parking the car, Angjelini shot him nine times in the body and head with a Sig Sauer caliber 22 caliber pistol.
He then gave Shpëtim Qerim a signal which he then took by car and together they headed for Varmahlíð in Skagafjörður.
Angjelin is the only one who has confessed to killing Armando. He has been in custody since his arrest in mid-February. Two defendants have been detained since their release from custody, but one is serving the remainder of his sentence due to a previous conviction.
