A serious event occurred this afternoon in the Port of Durres. An immigrant has drowned at sea.
The victim is about 25 years old, while it is suspected that he is Syrian. The body of the young man was found inside the water basin by the border police and was taken ashore without signs of life.

On 30.05.2021, in the Port of Durrës, near the fishing boats, an unidentified male citizen was found drowned in the water.
Police officers immediately went to the scene, where from the preliminary examination of the corpse no signs of violence were found.
The investigative team is working to identify the person and fully uncover the event.
