Kosovo Police has completed the action at the Agency for Agricultural Development and has handcuffed seven officials.
Their arrest was made in the framework of the action of the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes with the Prosecution, which is taking place in several cities of Kosovo. The action was carried out under suspicion of taking bribes in the distribution of subsidies.
We remind you that the Minister of Agriculture, Faton Peci, warned last night that the prosecution and the prosecution bodies will not stop until the cases of abuse in the ministry he leads are clarified.
Peci in a TV appearance has confirmed that he has been contacted by economic crime bodies and that he will continue to provide information regarding abuses in the ministry.
“In the category of subsidies is a large debt, the involvement of officials that a significant number of them are with indictments, a number are under investigation and in detention and in all likelihood there are indications that this does not end with that because the wave of The first and second arrests in the past may affect other officials as well, making it difficult to work in the ministry. “I am assuming that the fact that there was a chain in the undertaking of actions in taking and giving bribes, I believe that the prosecution will not stop until the cases are solved.”, said Peci.
