The abolition of roaming for the Western Balkans and insurance for vehicles entering Montenegro from Kosovo, starting on 1 July, could be a safe entry for a successful tourist season for the city of Ulcinj this year.
The President of the Tourist Center of Kosovo, Shkelzen Rizaj, who for years has stressed that vehicle insurance should be removed because it creates large and unnecessary crowds at the borders, especially in Sukubina, thinks that the season will be successful, writes Vijesti, broadcasts Ulqini Online.
“With the abolition of roaming, everything will be easier now. We will do everything to fill the tourist capacities in Ulcinj, and if the epidemiological situation is favorable, then it will not be so difficult. Thus, on Friday, there were no vacancies in the hotels of Ulcinj, “said Rizaj.
He stated that Kosovars are traditionally in favor of Ulcinj to spend the summer holidays. Rizaj adds that there are many guests from Kosovo in other cities in Montenegro.
“I was called yesterday from Budva… There are Kosovar tourists in Avala, Splendid, Beçi…… This will be a good season for everyone”, says the long experienced tourist worker, who has lobbied for the Montenegrin coast and especially for Ulcinj for decades.
