President Ilir Meta continues the battle for the building of the National Theater and its transfer to the ownership of the Municipality of Tirana.
Today, the Head of State has returned to the government the Normative Act for the change of the State Budget 2021, taking the trigger exactly from the allocation of the additional fund of 900 million ALL for the Municipality of Tirana for the construction of the new building of the National Theater.
According to the Head of State, the allocation of this amount to the Municipality of Tirana is in violation of the decision-making of the Constitutional Court.
“900 million ALL for the new Theater, the Government and the Assembly continue to adopt decisions in the spirit of unconstitutional acts. The Government and the Assembly have openly violated, bypassed and challenged the decision-making authority of the Constitutional Court.
